TV DOCUMENTARY EVALUATION.

On this task I decided to work independently so i could focus on reflecting what i have learnt and what i have improved on. i decided to focus my documentary o life of people in coastal areas. i believe i included all of the briefs we were set to cover, such as interviews and commentary.
The thing that makes this documentary look professional is the statistics included and the shot types.
In terms of what went well, i was proud of the shot types taken and the editing of the documentary, especially the text appearing. i was also impressed with the way i constructed the interviews in a professional manor.
There were some imperfections in my film, such as the soundtrack, in my opinion, does not match the theme as well as it could. if i could do it again i would also choose a different font, as i believe the one i chose looks unprofessional.
if i were to improve i would also do some more pre planning, as i thought i was taking to long to thing of a subject so i chose one at random.

Pot Noodle Ad Evaluation

In our film we decided to create an advert for the brand Pot Noodle. We made it appeal to the middle-class business man, rather than the official adverts normally targeted to the lower-class. We aimed to achieve this by rather than Pot Noodles normal adverts including working class people, we had an office worker instead. in some ways we stuck with the pot noodle style adverts by including a comical aspect to it. The plot of the advert is a business man running late for work and seeks a quick and convenient snack. i believe we achieved our goal of appealing to this audience whilst sticking to the focus of the advert.
In terms of improvement, i would have liked to have a bit more pre-shot planning as i believe that some shots look almost rushed, such as the one of the character running through the door.
